Insulation Products
For new building construction or remodeling, Cooley's Home Center carries several types of insulation products.
One product we are very impressed with is Johns Manville Insulation. Cutting edge technology - insulations have come a long ways in the past 10 years or so.
Fiberglass insulation (faced or unfaced) in different R values, in the most common widths - rolls or batts for 16" centers or 24" centers.
Fiberglass insulation is available in thicknesses from 3-1/2" up to 12 ", depending on your application.
We also carry Styrofoam extruded insulation board in several thicknesses. Generally, this material is available in 24" x 8' (tongue & groove).
However, we also stock High-R 4x8 sheets which are foil backed. Several thicknesses are in-stock.
If your requirements include cellulose insulation, we have an excellent quality product in stock that will exceed your needs. Cellulose insulation is a smart alternative to fiberglass. It provides a green, efficient, non-toxic, affordable thermal solution that’s worth considering.
Cellulose is “green.” It’s made of 80% post-consumer recycled newsprint. The fiber is chemically treated with non-toxic borate compounds (20% by weight) to resist fire, insects and mold.
We stock pipe insulation wrap, faced or unfaced, foil backed duct insulation, and heat tapes. We also have hot water heater insulation blankets.
One of the best investments for the value when it comes to saving energy is laying in additional fiberglass insulation in your attic. The savings in heating and cooling costs pays for the insulation usually in the first year.
Roofing Materials
For residential roofing, our choice is BP architectural shingles and underlayment.

For rolled roofing we use RUBBERALL
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber roofing technology has been the choice of larger roofing contractors for low slope roofing applications for over thirty years. Until recently, getting that EPDM membrane proved difficult for the smaller contractor.
Water Tight Technologies is making available this proven EPDM roofing technology to the residential and light commercial contractor by offering RUBBERALL® membrane through Cooley's Do It Best Home Center.
RUBBERALL stays flexible, withstands temperature extremes, installation yields few or no joints, fast, safe installation, weatherproof, requires minimal maintenance, and has over 40 years proven field performance.
We stock both Full Lap and 1/2 Lap Roll Roofing. Felt paper is available in 15 lb. and 30 lb. rolls. Peak performer II ridge vent (roll stock) is a top performer. Gable end vents are also available. Asphalt cement, blind nailing cement, roofing nails, & tools of the trade are also always in stock.

Cooley's is your one-stop source for all of your lumber requirements.
We stock dimensional framing lumber in all sizes including 2x2, 2x4, 2x6, 2x8, 2x10 and 2x12 (in lengths up to 16') as well as a wide selection of 1x2, 1x4, 1x6, 1x8, and 1x10 pine boards.
We also have pressure treated lumber, 4x8 plywood, 4x8 OSB sheathing, pressure treated decking and railing, flooring, trim boards, and mouldings.
For your deck project, we carry products by BestDeck. This is a composite decking that is innovative, beautiful and resilient.
Bestdeck is available in two profiles, Bestdeck16 and Bestdeck24. Bestdeck16 has been engineered to span 16 inches on center, while Bestdeck24 can span 24 inches on center.
Both profiles are reversible with a traditional wood grain pattern on one side and a contemporary brushed pattern on the other. Bestdeck Hidden Fastener Clip with Screws and Bestdeck Hollow Core Screws have been exclusively designed for fastening Bestdeck16 and Bestdeck24 boards.
It is important to note that failure to use these Bestdeck fastening methods when installing your deck will void the warranty. Bestdeck End Caps can be used to cover Bestdeck's hollow core to provide a clean, finished look. Bestdeck profiles and accessories come in three colors: Nantucket Gray, Chesapeake Sand and Sedona Red.
We also carry Rhino Deck materials for all of your decking and dock projects - for the DIYer and the contractor. Decking, Railing, Lattice, & Accessories. Installation guides are on hand and we are happy to offer tips and tricks to make the job easy and look great. All Rhino products are made of 100% post consumer recycled plastics (think green).
